I am a creative and learner centered problem solver with over five years of experience designing course material, training content in numerous settings, and educational activities.

I've always had an innate ability to interpret how people think and learn. I would spend endless hours creating engaging courses because I wanted people to love the learning experience more than I did! 

My experience in leadership roles have cultivated my skills needed to facilitate strategic plans of action and projects, delegate assignments, and oversee deliverables while mentoring and training others. 

I've expanded my understanding on instructional design processes such as ADDIE and Discovery Based Learning, and I've enjoyed working with Articulate 360 Suite, TalentLMS, and Canva. 

As my career develops, I continue to stay current on learning trends by reading articles, gaining insight from the learning and development, and researching content. 

My name is La'Jatienne ( La-Jah-Ti-en), but my family calls me by first name when I'm in trouble, so please call me Jay, lol! I am from Dallas, Texas, but my roots are in Louisiana. My passion for learning has seen me take on roles ranging from a secondary facilitator to education leadership, which enticed me into the world of learning experience design.

I love exploring new malls and places, discovering new learning, and spending time with my family. I love my gorgeous daughters, charming son, and handsome husband. My current interest include learning to build a business and interior design on a budget :) .
